I painted this model manufactured by Reaper for a friend of mine to use in tabletop play.  He did require varnishing, since he'll be handled a lot, but I probably should have photographed him beforehand, as the varnish obscured some of the subtle shading and details.   I like how the NMM turned out.  It's much better than anything I've done with metallic paints.

I am beyond excited to have won a Bronze trophy at Golden Demon North America 2010 for my River Troll!

Attending Games Day Baltimore was such an incredible experience.  I met so many fantastic people, and got to look at some truly amazing artwork by mini painters from around the world.  Photos online do not do justice to these beautiful figures, so it was great to see up close and in person some of the work I've admired for a long time.
